Mini but Powerful

UC100 functions as an IoT controller, enabling remote control and data acquisition from Modbus RS485 devices through LoRaWAN® networks. It can read data from up to 16 Modbus RTU devices and seamlessly support Modbus transparent transmission between servers and RS485 devices, serving as a Modbus to LoRaWAN® converter. Moreover, UC100 is equipped with support for multiple trigger conditions and actions, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in network downtime. When paired with the Milesight IoT Cloud solution, it effortlessly monitors and manages remote assets via web servers or mobile apps. UC100 is widely deployed in indoor applications such as smart metering, smart cities, and building automation.

Bridge across the Internet and Modbus Devices

The Milesight IoT/LoRaWAN Controller UC100 serves as an intuitive device dedicated to gathering data from on-site Modbus RTU devices and transmitting it to the Internet via LoRaWAN®.

The UC100, functioning as an RS485 to LoRaWAN Controller, is compatible with LoRaWAN® gateways,

  • offering a range of up to 15 km in rural areas and 2 km in urban areas across CN470/RU864/IN865/EU868/US915/AU915/KR920/AS923 bands.
  • High Compatibility, compliant with standard LoRaWAN® gateways and network servers

 

Milesight D2D

Enabled by the Milesight D2D protocol featuring LoRa, allowing the UC100 to communicate with other Milesight LoRaWAN® node devices within 1 second without a LoRaWAN® gateway.

When Working as a Milesight D2D Controller Device

Triggered by RS485 devices to send commands for controlling other Milesight D2D agents.

When Working as a Milesight D2D Agent Device

Receiving commands from other Milesight D2D controllers to control local RS485 devices.

Intelligent Trigger System
