New Gateway Solution Enabling Picture Transmission
HL31 is notable for its impressive capability to manage high data throughput with lower power consumption. It effectively bridges the gap between LoRaWAN ® and Wi-Fi, opening up new possibilities for IoT solutions. This is exemplified by its integration with the X1 Sensing Camera (Wi-Fi HaLow version), where it acts as a Wi-Fi Halow client to deliver enhanced camera functionality.
Simplified Network Setup and deployment
The HL31 and its associated nodes use the Wi-Fi HaLow protocol, which builds on the existing IP protocol stack. In this setup, the gateway functions as the Wi-Fi HaLow access points (AP), creating a network for the Wi-Fi HaLow clients. This approach simplies network setup and avoids the complexities of deploying alternative mesh networks.

Compared to standard Wi-Fi, the HL31 benefits from lower frequency bands, which enhance its penetration capability and extend ots coverage range. Under optimal conditions, it can achieve a communication range of up to 1 km.
